Day Canvas Terms of Service

Last updated: April 24, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose) These Terms govern the use of Day Canvas (the "Service") provided by the individual operator ChronoCode (the "Operator").

Article 2 (Definitions) "Service" means the Day Canvas web application, mobile application (Expo-based), and related features such as scheduling, diary entries, media, and AI-assisted tools. "User" means any person who accesses the Service and creates an account or uses features. "Content" means schedules, diary text, photos/images, mood records, stickers, and other data users submit to the Service.

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment) The Operator posts these Terms in the Service and may amend them within applicable law. Material changes will be announced with the effective date and summary. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Article 4 (Provision) The Service is provided on a best-effort, continuous basis but may be suspended for maintenance, outages, force majeure, or third-party infrastructure failures.

Article 5 (Accounts) Users must provide accurate information and safeguard credentials. Users are responsible for losses caused by negligent account management. Impersonation and fraudulent registration are prohibited.

Article 6 (Acceptable Use) Users must not: violate laws or third-party rights; disrupt the Service or impose unreasonable load; impersonate others; use unauthorized automation against the Service; or engage in other wrongful conduct.

Article 7 (AI Features) The Service may use external models (e.g., Google Generative AI) for drafts, letters, or reports. Outputs are for reference only and do not replace professional advice. Users must review final content. Plan-based limits on AI usage may apply. Some inputs may be processed on overseas servers as described in the Privacy Policy.

Article 8 (Paid Plans and Billing) Free and paid plans (e.g., Moments, Signature) may be offered with limits described on the pricing page. Paid subscriptions may be sold via Apple In-App Purchase; Apple’s terms may govern payment, refunds, and cancellation. Subscription state recorded on the Operator’s servers controls access to paid features. Webhook/receipt verification may take time to sync.

Article 9 (Intellectual Property) Service UI, branding, and code belong to the Operator or licensors. Users retain rights in their Content and grant the Operator a non-exclusive license limited to hosting, backup, security, and service improvement.

Article 10 (Suspension and Termination) The Operator may restrict or terminate access for violations of these Terms or applicable law, with notice when reasonable. Users may delete their accounts via in-app tools or by contacting the Operator. Data handling after deletion follows the Privacy Policy.

Article 11 (Disclaimer) To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for damages caused by force majeure, third-party failures, or user fault, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

Article 12 (Governing Law) These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
